Heart Disease Therapy
Complementary support alongside your cardiac care
Living with a heart or circulatory condition can affect your energy, confidence and everyday wellbeing. Our friendly team provides a welcoming place where you can discuss oxygen therapy and the complementary support available alongside your existing medical care.
BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY
Supporting your wellbeing with care and caution
Heart and circulatory conditions can take many different forms, including coronary heart disease, heart rhythm problems, valve conditions and heart failure. The symptoms, risks and treatment needs vary considerably, so our approach begins with understanding your health and the guidance you have received from your medical team.
Oxygen therapy takes place inside one of our hyperbaric chambers, where oxygen is breathed through a mask while the chamber is gradually pressurised. This temporarily increases the amount of oxygen carried within the blood, but it is not an established treatment for heart disease.
Oxygen therapy does not clear blocked arteries, repair heart damage or replace medication, surgery, rehabilitation or any other cardiac treatment. Anyone with a diagnosed heart condition must speak to their cardiologist or GP before beginning oxygen therapy.
Some conditions, particularly heart failure or unstable cardiac symptoms, may make oxygen therapy unsuitable or require additional medical assessment. You should also tell us about any medication, pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted medical device before arranging a session.
Our team will explain what oxygen therapy involves, carefully consider your suitability and answer any questions you may have. We will only recommend proceeding where it is considered appropriate alongside your existing medical care.
