Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Individual support that respects your energy limits
Living with ME/CFS can affect your energy, concentration, sleep and ability to manage everyday activities. Our friendly team provides a welcoming place where you can explore oxygen therapy and complementary support alongside the care provided by your GP or specialist.
BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY
Support shaped around your symptoms and energy
ME/CFS is a complex, long-term condition that affects everyone differently. Symptoms can fluctuate considerably and physical or mental activity may cause a delayed and lasting worsening of symptoms, known as post-exertional malaise. Our approach begins with listening to you and understanding your individual needs and limitations.
Oxygen therapy takes place inside one of our hyperbaric chambers, where oxygen is breathed through a mask while the chamber is gradually pressurised. Research into its use for ME/CFS remains limited, and oxygen therapy is not currently an established treatment for the condition.
Oxygen therapy does not cure ME/CFS and should not replace personalised energy management, medication for individual symptoms or any other treatment recommended by your healthcare professionals. Any new, severe or changing symptoms should always be discussed with your GP or specialist.
We understand that travelling, unfamiliar surroundings and attending a session can place demands on limited energy. Our team will explain what the experience involves, carefully consider your suitability and help you decide whether oxygen therapy or one of our complementary services is manageable and appropriate for you.
