Fibromyalgia Therapy
Understanding support for a complex condition
Living with fibromyalgia can mean coping with widespread pain, fatigue, disrupted sleep and difficulty concentrating. Our friendly team provides a welcoming place where you can explore oxygen therapy and complementary support alongside the care provided by your GP or specialist.
BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY
Support shaped around how you feel
Fibromyalgia affects everyone differently. Symptoms can vary considerably from person to person and may also change from one day to another. Our approach begins with listening to you, understanding how the condition affects your life and discussing the support you are looking for.
Oxygen therapy takes place inside one of our hyperbaric chambers, where oxygen is breathed through a mask while the chamber is gradually pressurised. Research is exploring whether hyperbaric oxygen could help with symptoms such as pain and fatigue, but the evidence remains limited and it is not currently an established treatment for fibromyalgia.
Oxygen therapy does not cure fibromyalgia and should not replace medication, appropriate exercise, talking therapies or any other treatment recommended by your healthcare professionals. If you have concerns about your symptoms or are considering changing your existing treatment, you should speak to your GP or specialist.
Our team will explain what a session involves, carefully consider your health and individual needs, and answer any questions you may have. Where oxygen therapy or one of our complementary services is appropriate, we will help make your experience as comfortable, supportive and manageable as possible.
